Kerbaltek is an outlet for all things Kerbal - mods, ribbons, support and more.
Kerbaltek is proud to announce yet another useful tool for KSP players. The Craft Extractor copies all your ships from a save file into .craft format, and wraps them neatly in a .zip archive. You'll find it on our Craft Kitchen page. Give it a try and tell us how it works for you.
Kerbaltek mods are now available through the CKAN KSP mod manager. You can download and keep them updated along with all your other mods. Thanks go out to the folks at CKAN for all their help.
Kerbaltek Aerospace is proud to announce the acquisition of Graphotron, the original science data tracking plugin for Kerbal Space Program. It's already updated for KSP 1.0, and available for download. Thanks go out to olex for creating Graphotron 2000 and assisting with this transition.
KSP is out of BETA with the release of version 1.0, and HyperEdit is already up to speed with version 1.4. Enjoy!
Kerbaltek members can now subscribe to updates by email, for HyperEdit or general Kerbaltek news. Registration is free and easy - on the User page.
Did you ever want a cool and easy way to plan and describe your KSP missions? Well, our newest contributor, Thunderous Echo, has invented the "Misson Overview Generator" ("MOG"), and we're proud to host it here at Kerbaltek.
It's still in development, but a working version is already available here: The KSP MOG. Now let's find those bugs!
Many new improvements to the interface, less explosions (maybe), and much behind the scenes fixing, makes this the best HyperEdit ever. Thanks go out to khyperia who literally did all the work this time. Enjoy!
One of the biggest updates yet. There's some great new stuff in Career Mode, and HyperEdit still works.
Some links may have changed. Please excuse the mess and report any problems.
I'm very proud to announce that khyperia, the original creator of HyperEdit, has returned to the development team. Welcome back!
The eagerly awaited rebuild of the Ribbon Generator is done!
Please give it a test and tell me what you think.
The latest update includes some really cool stuff, and HyperEdit is still working.
So, yea - HyperEdit is still working with the newest update, which suits me fine since I'm busy working on a new back-end framework for our content. Faster load times (ugh), secure user accounts, and general organization are the goals.
The Ribbon Generator web app lets you create cool ribbons for your accomplishments in KSP. When it needed a home, I stepped up, and hope to keep it going for a very long time. Enjoy!
HyperEdit v18.104.22.168 for KSP-0.21.1 works fine with KSP 0.23.5, so no update is needed from us.
Craft Kitchen now uses the newest game data, and I've ironed out a couple of major problems. Please check it out, and report any issues.
HyperEdit now has its own page, and the Downloads page has been integrated into the new and improved Craft Kitchen.
Now you can upload and share your own craft files for all to see. No login required!
We're proud to announce a new upgrade to our Downloads page that includes in-game ship stats, like mass, thrust and more. To include your ships, just send them to us on our Contact page.
This update of KSP includes some great stuff! Like changing part options in the editor before launch, and the camera no longer moves when changing view. A fresh update and a fresh community manager. Things are looking up at Squad!
We've tested HyperEdit v22.214.171.124 with KSP v0.23, and it works just fine.
We've tested HyperEdit v126.96.36.199 with KSP v0.22, and it seems to work fine.
The Creator made a recommendation to add back the Si metric multipliers in a way that allows the user to optionally enter them, or leave them out if preferred. We hope to improve this even more eventually.
A bug in the Lander component may have put you in the wrong place, or caused an error. Please update to v188.8.131.52.
The Kerbal SpacePort site for KSP plugins is currently malfuntioning, and the "HyperEdit.dll" found there is not our plugin. We do not recommend downloading or using that file.
September 3, 2013 - Update: The SpacePort is... still broken.
After several support requests, the problem remains. We feel it no longer serves our users interests to keep struggling. All new releases will be here on our site.
There are 2 notable changes in this release.
Not only has Payo joined the team, but they bring with them a whole new feature to HyperEdit, called "Planet Editor". It enables editing conditions like gravity and atmosphere on any planet in the system, including the sun. It allows for easy test launches in any environment, and some rather strange goings on at our KSC offices. We're thrilled to have Payo on board, and excited about the new feature.
Si metric suffixes have been removed entirely. All entry boxes now show raw numbers without any multipliers, for ease of use. This should make things like Lander coordinates much easier to understand.
I'm very proud to present the best ship I've ever built. A complete Kerbin Exploration System, including air-hoggy Turbo-Jet boosters, SRBs, and nuclear rockets, with a 3-Kerb heavy lander on top. It's the culmination of many hours of study, generously peppered with explosions. The intent was to build an extremely efficient heavy-lift workhorse that also becomes part of a larger ship for exploring the entire Kerbin system. The slim, square profile allows stacking in 2 dimensions for a mothership as small or as monsterous as you like. It's a bit big, and may lag your system, but it's got all the bells and whisles to get you anywhere you want, and build whatever you need. Enjoy!
You can find the Kolsys and other ships on our Downloads page.
There are no major changes in this release, but we've removed the F11 Hotkey as promised. We also updated the code to the new way KSP is handling plugins. As always, please let us know if you have any problems or feedback.
We've added Forecaster's artwork, and almost kept to his design. Tell us if you hate it.
Ship Craft files of our best creations are now on our Downloads page. All stock and ready to go... sort'a. Take your picks and tell us how they do for you.
A message from a user reminded me that the new version of HyperEdit won't work with the older version of KSP, so I've updated our Downloads page to include previous versions, other stuff, and things.
sirkut discovered that all it needed was to reference the new KSP .dll's, and cranked out a new release. Big thanks to sirkut for getting on it so fast, and to Forecaster for the great in-game flags. How's that for service?
Now both versions are ready for download here, and on the Space Port. As always, please report any issues you may find.
Forecaster was kind enough to whip us up a fine logo for Kerbaltek Aerospace, as well as some new graphics for the site, now I just need to get them in place.
We're beginning to fill in the site with important information, mostly about HyperEdit, and soon we hope to have a live chat app in place for developers and possibly users too.
If there is anything you'd like added, please let us know. In particular, we need to flesh out the FAQ with the normal stuff so folks don't need to go digging for the basics. You in the community who are experienced with HyperEdit are the best ones to write them, so please submit yours.
Kerbaltek Aerospace is proud to announce the acquisition of HyperEdit, the reality-enhancing toolset every flight director wishes for. Thanks go out to khyperia for creating HyperEdit and being so generous with its legacy. At Kerbaltek Aerospace, we're committed to keeping HyperEdit at the top of its game, so to speak, and we look forward to working with the community.
